Mary Violet Rowan Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Violet Rowan (Millstadt, Illinois), born in Vienna, Illinois, who passed away on April 23, 2020 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her brothers, Thomas Burris, Jack Burris (Beverly) of Paducah, KY and Ray Burris. She is survived by : her spouse Carroll G. Rowan; her children, Steven G. Rowan of Saint Peters, MO and Rebecca Androff (Joseph) of Belleville, IL; and her siblings, Joe Burris (Norma) of Maryville, IL, Kenneth Burris (Elizabeth) of Bradenton, FL, Jim Burris of Belleville, IL and Teresa Arnold (Jack) of St. Louis, MO. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral: Due to Covid-19, private family services will be officiated by a special "daughter," Rev. Janice L. Ringenberg, with a celebration of life to be held at a later date.
Memorials: Mary's mortal enemy was Alzheimer's. Those wishing to continue the fight for her and others may direct memorials to the Alzheimer's Association.
