He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, William Everett and Irene Mae Casto (Coil); his former life partner Suzanne "Susie" Martin; his wife Sue Casto of Millstadt; his children, Kathy Quirin (Paul) of Smithton, IL, Krissy Jung (Marty) of Waterloo, IL, Michelle Fultz (Barry) of Millstadt, IL, Eileen Harszy (Craig) of Waterloo, IL and Bill Casto (Staci) of Millstadt, IL; his grandchildren, Hannah, Abby (Sophie Quirin), Jacob, Katie (Megan Jung), Casey (AJ Fultz), Kara (Wyatt Harszy) and Jada (Jase Casto); his brother Doug Casto (Kim); and his stepmother Miriam Casto of Columbus, OH. He was also cherished by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to the U.S.O. for service men and women and the Ronald McDonald House.
