It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Maribelle Schopp of Minier, Illinois, born in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, who passed away on November 14, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph E. Schopp; her grandson Austin (Dunniway); and her sister Hallie Childers. She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Hartzold (Rod) of Springfield, Diane Dunniway (Jim), Mike Schopp (Tonja) of Mackinaw, Michele Jacobs (Gary) of Springfield, Mark Schopp (Jo Ann) of Minier and Dan Schopp (Laurie) of Mackinaw. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; and 18 great- grandchildren.
Donations may be made to Pekin Manor Activities or St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Hopedale on Maribelle's behalf.
