She was predeceased by: her parents, Silas D. Birkey and Amanda Stalter Birkey; and her siblings, Marie Oyer, Carolyn Kutzner, Velda Birky, Leota Springer and Lowell Birkey.
She is survived by: her husband Merle Nafziger; her sons, Roger Nafziger (Cindy) of Minier and Gregg Nafziger (Tina) of Minier; her grandchildren, Brett Nafziger (Andrea), Holly Gottschalk (Tim), Loni Steinkamp (Matt) and Blake Nafziger; and her sister Joan Litwiller (John) of Minier. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
