He was predeceased by: his parents, Talmas Roberts and Dona McKnight Roberts; his brother Hallie; his sons, Robert, Rick and Ben; and his granddaughter Pam.

He is survived by: his wife Wilma M. George; his daughters, Ann Smith (Rick) of Washington, IL and Pam McCloy of Fayetteville, NC; and his siblings, Ron Roberts (Mary) of Gainesville, MO and Juanita Fowler (James) of Palmville, CA..

Memorials may be made to Minier Rescue Squad or his church.
