He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen D. Kistler and Irene Kistler (Rausch); his son Bradley Kistler; and his sister Carolyn Boggs. He is survived by: his wife Jean Ann Kistler of Monmouth, IL; and his children, Scott Daniel Kistler of Monmouth and Kristina Kistler of Rock Island, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to Warren Achievement Center, Monmouth, IL.
