She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyle Maritz and Margaret Maritz (Willett); and her brothers, Andy Maritz and Pat Maritz. She is survived by: her husband Jim Pettit of Monmouth, IL; her children, Brian Pettit (Melissa) of Galesburg, IL, Missy Noel (Denny) of Monmouth, IL and Angie Moore (John) of Monmouth, IL; and her grandchildren, Ashton Hamby (Mallory), Samantha Bresnahan (Jeremiah), Chelsea Logsdon (Dustin), Kaley Eversgerd (Chad), Nikki Bellinger (Wesley), Damon Moore, Hayley Moore, Jakob Pettit, Molly Pettit and Chelsea Goad. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to Western Illinois Animal Rescue (WIAR).
