He was predeceased by: his parents, William C. Lease and Louise Lease (Greenstreet); and his sisters, Linda and Missy. He is survived by: his wife Melissa Dunn; his children, William Logan, Brittny Lease (Mizner), Alison Aldrich (Lease), Tiffany Jackson (Ruse), Dan, Sunita Ruse (Modani) and Carrie Leath (Scott); his grandchildren, William Carter Lease, Noah, Johan, Isaiah Aldrich, Boston, Jaxon, Laike Law, Rohan and Keshav Ruse; and his close friend Myra Bell.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Legion Post 136 - Nursing Scholarship Fund.
