He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Heatherly and Myrtle Heatherly (Russell); and his siblings, Tom Heatherly, Kathy Davidson and Karen Heatherly.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Heatherly of Monmouth, IL; his stepsons, James Dean Vestal of Galesburg and Ricky Lee Vestal of Florida; his grandchildren, Courtney Vestal and Ricky Lee Vestal, Jr.; his great grandchild Olivia Bouie; and his brother Dan Heatherly (MaryAnn) of Monmouth, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to the Monmouth VFW and sent to the funeral home.
