He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph I. "Rudy" and Lyla Crawford (Yates); his brothers, Francis Gene Crawford, Donald Crawford and Harold Crawford; and his brother-in-law James Agar.

He is survived by: his wife Lois A. Johnson; his friend Bill Axline; his sons, Bruce W Crawford (Karen) of Galesburg, IL and Dr. Brian R. Crawford (Debra) of Pocatello, ID; his grandchildren, Lauren Tucker (Tom) of Noblesville, IN and Jenna Gallup (Matt) of Oswego, IL; his great grandchildren, Charlotte Tucker, Grace Tucker, Leah Tucker, Norah Gallup and Nash Gallup; his stepgrandchildren, Zach Torres (Dannielle) of Yukon, OK, Allie Torres of Oklahoma and Peyton Torres of Pocatello, ID; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Tylor Torres, Riley Torres, Cameron Torres, McKenna Torres, Paisley Torres and Lane Torres; his sisters, Kathryn Agar of Long Prairie, MN, Nancy Geisinger (Larry) of Spencer, IA and Karen Handeland (Douglas) of Whiting, IA; and his sisters-in-law, Marsha Crawford of Calder, ID and Paula Crawford of Las Vegas, NV. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
