It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert L Trego Jr. of Monmouth, Illinois, born in Chicago Heights, Illinois, who passed away on March 6, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Leroy Sr. and Elizabeth Jean Trego (Stewart); his brothers, Larry Trego and Richard Trego; and his nephew Ronnie Trego.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Trego of Monmouth; his children, Angela Lynn Miller (Scott) of Canton, IL, Eugene Buck Trego of Florida, Brandy Lee Trego of Canton, IL and Beauman Scot Trego (Nicole) of Monmouth; his grandchildren, Nathan Miller, Caleb Miller, Ian Pierce, Kaylee Farmer (Ryan), Logan Trego and Tanner Trego; his siblings, Jackie Davis (Bill) of Roseville and James Hopkins of Abingdon, IL; his aunt Dorothy Lober of Blandinsville, IL; and his sister-in-law Carol Trego of Abingdon, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to the Quad Cities Honor Flight and sent to the funeral home.
