With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald L. Blacker of Monticello, Illinois, born in Bement, Illinois, who passed away on March 18, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Blacker and Beulah Blacker; and his spouse Lenna B. Schwartz. He is survived by: his children, Greg Blacker (Brenda) of Cerro Gordo, Gary Blacker (Becky) of Monticello, Donnie Blacker of Peoria and Lori Blacker-Levitt of Bloomington; his grandchildren, Renee Blacker, Greg Blacker, Brooke Kimball, Shelby Blacker, Madison Levitt and Jacob Levitt; his great grandchild Casean Beavers; and his sisters, Marilyn Morrow of Rock Island and Carolyn Kirwan of Ivesdale.
Memorials may be made to the Piatt County Nursing Home.
