He was predeceased by: his parents, Marjorie and Joseph. He is survived by: his close friend Heidi Donahue; his children, David, Sarah and Jake; his sister Pat (Bill); his children-in-law, Mindy and Cal; and his grandchildren, Morgan Grace, Riley Michael, Cooper Michael and Greta Rose. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kirby Foundation or Monticello Christian Church, both of Monticello, Illinois.
