With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William A. Hayes of Monticello, Illinois, who passed away on January 14, 2021 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William A. Hayes to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Randolph Allen and Lila Faye Hayes (Montgomery); and his sister Eileen Vermillion. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Hayes of Monticello; and his children, Melinda Dubson (Rick) of Monticello, Julie Miller (Craig) of Arthur, Dennis Hayes (Bridget) of Ballwin, MO and Gretchen Hayes of Monticello. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Piatt County Nursing Home.
