She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Richard and Ann Louise Harshfield (Hadfield); her husband Edward Jewell; her daughters, Coral Moulden and Carol Spraklin; and her granddaughter Tiffany Garcia.
She is survived by: her children, Tom Jewell (Lisa) and Nena Grimes; her brother Richard Allen Harshfield (Fern); her sons-in-law, Doug Spraklin and Allan Moulden; and her grandchildren, Nicholas Fizer (Nicole), James Fizer (Brittany Sapp), Rosanne Switzer (Tim), Edward Jewell (Kerrie), Alisha Jewell (Adam Sinkler), Lance Jewell (Alexis), Forrest Spraklin, Molly Spraklin (Sam Beal) and John Friend. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Barkley Funeral Chapel (300 N Kentucky St, Greenup, IL 62428). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Mullen Cemetery (656 150N, Montrose, IL 62445).
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the family to help with funeral expenses and any amount over will be given to the Eastern Star home in Macon, IL.
