Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Dorothy Ann DeMay of Morrison, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 94, on December 14, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Tegeler and Callie V. Tegeler (Dyche); her husband Gene DeMay; her stepfather Art Forth; and her grandchildren, Nick Stolts and Mandy Roe.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Roe (Randy) of Clinton, IA and Robert DeMay (Deborah) of Ankeny, IA; her grandchildren, Bryan Stolts (Eri), Michael Stolts (Ellen), Adrian Noteboom (Curtis), Angie Wadle (Tony) and Kelly Spear (Gregg); her great grandchildren, Johnathan Stolts (Abby), Kalley Dyson (Jon), Taylor Proko (Tanner), Avery, Andrew Maresca, Olivia Wadle, Logan, Owen, Olivia Noteboom, Kyle, Brandon, Christopher Spear, Dilan Trester and Revah Ready; her great great grandchild Matteo Proko; her half-siblings, Cathy Bell of Marion, OH, Tom Tegeler (Joyce) of Fulton, IL and Marty Lewis (Patty) of Florida; Annie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Morrison United Methodist Church (200 W Lincoln Way, Morrison, IL 61270). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM and on Sunday, December 21st 2025 at 4:15 PM. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 4:15 PM to 4:30 PM at the Riverside Cemetery (300 E 3rd St, Prophetstown, IL 61277).
A memorial has been established to Odell Public Library in Morrison.
