She was predeceased by : her parents, Gordon Blackert and Darlene Blackert (Anderson); and her brother Kent Blackert. She is survived by : her husband Virgil Hairgrove of Morton; her sons, Nick of Morton and Chris Hairgrove of Morton; her siblings, Christy Blackert and Kevin Blackert (Kim); and her caregiver Peds Cardiology.

Memorials may be made to Hopedale Foundation for Nursing Scholarships.
