She was predeceased by : her parents, Leo John and Agnes Kieffer (Tougaw); and her sister Ann Jane Kight-Miller. She is survived by : her husband Robert Leon Merriel; her children, John Merriel (Tammy) of Mt. Carmel, Lisa Howell Lucedale (Harvey) of Mississippi, Kris Leveque (Rick) of Browns, Janie Hiatt (Jeff) of Mt. Carmel, Illinois, Patric Merriel (Leah) of Mt. Carmel, Illinois and Diane Bulin (Earnest) of Mt. Carmel, Illinois; her grandchildren, Brandon Merriel (Sierra), Caleb Merriel (Morgan), Justin Merriel, Tyler Leveque, Adam Leveque (Kiera), Lori Cotner (Colten), Ryan Merriel (Brittany), Hunter Merriel (Krystal), Malachi, Rylee, Alex Bulin, Scott Hiatt (Brittany), Jessica Onyett (David) and Jacob Hiatt (Kelsie); and her brother Tom Kieffer (Ellen Grounds). She is also survived by children, family and pets, spending time with her grandchildren.
