We are sad to announce that on November 23, 2021, at the age of 86, Shirley Barnett (Mount Carmel, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Carl Singer and Mary Singer (Moade); her husband James "Joe" Barnett; her sister Phyllis Coffey; her son-in-law Lonnie Thornton; and her great grandchild Jamie Lea Miller.

She is survived by : her children, David Barnett (Cherry) of Murrieta, CA, Rebecca Thornton of Mt. Carmel and April Barnett of Mt. Carmel; her grandchildren, James Miller, Michael Miller, Lora Biene, Marie Pimentel, Amber Barnett and Patrick Barnett; her great grandchildren, Heather Miller, Sylvia Miller, Sakura Miller and Remington Osmon; her great great grandchildren, Emmalee Cheesman, Dante Cheesman, Greyson Cheesman and Olivia Miller; and her brothers, Jack Singer and Don Singer.
