It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Dare Dicus (Mount Carmel, Illinois), born in Trenton, Tennessee, who passed away on February 6, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Willie G. Goad and Annice Estell Goad (Jones); her husband Bobby J. Dicus; and her siblings, Jewell Hagen, Faye Crutcher, Joy Wilkinson, Jeanette Goad, Connie Henson, Vera Merrill, Sue Mitchell, Maxie of Kenneth, J. C. and Billy Goad.
She is survived by : her sons, Gary Wayne Dicus (Patty) of Evansville, Donald William Dicus (Mary Lou) of Mt. Carmel and Bryan J. Dicus (Cricket) of Carmi, Illinois; her grandchildren, Summer Bennett, Holly Dicus, April Bonenberger, Jacob Dicus, Aaron Simms, Abby Douglas, Rachel Simms, Katie Glenn, Amy Whitley and Andy Mullins; and her great grandchildren, Myles Hawkins, Jackson, Samuel, Oliver Bennett, Dagan, Arian Bonenberger, Madeline, Caleb, Isaac, Andrew Douglas, Isaiah, Macy, Maya Glenn, Elijah, Ella, Elena Simms, Reagan and Reece Whitley.
