He was predeceased by: his parents, Baldwin "Jeff" and Helen Ackland (Crull). He is survived by: his wife Margo Lynn Swope; his children, Ginger O'Rourke (Ryan) of Oregon, IL, Melanie Hey (Martin II) of Hoffman Estates, IL and Brian Ackland (Jeanette) of Schaumburg, IL; his grandchildren, Taylor, Blake, Jordan Ackland, Martin, Tristan Hey and Grey O'Rourke; and his brother Gary Ackland (Susan).
