He was predeceased by : his parents, Mike Funk and Catherine Funk (Semplowski); his stepmother Josephine Dankoski; and his siblings, Stanley, Walter, Louie, Frank, Charlie Funk, Stephanie Stroth and Regina Nail.
He is survived by : his wife Carol Funk (Sanvi) of Mt. Olive, IL; his daughter Jolene Hanner (Kyle) of Staunton, IL; his stepdaughters, Karen O'Neill (Richard Mellenthin) of Mt. Olive, IL and Barb Crispens (David) of Litchfield, IL; his grandchildren, Michael Houston, Justin O'Neill, Kaitlin O'Neill, Cassie Mayer, Jacob Mellenthin and Seth Crispens; his great grandchildren, Hannah Houston, Amelia Houston and Aedan Houston; and his siblings, Helen Zimmerman, Sophia Southworth, Edna Nail, Katie Whitehouse and Mike Funk.
