The passing of Patricia Marie Smolen of Mount Prospect, Illinois leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on May 18, 2024 at the age of 85. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Patricia Marie shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Patricia Marie farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her brother Robert Smolen (late Dolores); her niece Therese Haines (David); her nephew Christopher Smolen; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Benjamin, William, Andrew Haines, Bridget and Katherine Smolen.

Visitation was held on Saturday, June 1st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John Brebeuf Church (8305 N Harlem Ave, Niles, IL 60714). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, June 1st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
