She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Leonard and Mary Elizabeth Ashbaker Roberts; her husband George Robert Burkey; her daughter Sandra Burkey; her grandsons, Joseph and Adam Burkey; and her siblings, Alberta Manar, Leonard Eugene, Francis Wayne and Ronald Roberts.

She is survived by : her children, Rose Morrison of Madison, Dr. William Burkey of Apopka and Michael Burkey of West Point; her grandchildren, Scott, Shawn Davis, Deanna Morrison, Michael Burkey Jr., Leah Kulas, Heather Brock and Micah Burkey; and her great grandchildren, Jessica, Jeremy and Emory. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
