Billy Ray Kennedy Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Billy Ray Kennedy of Mount Vernon, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 20, 2025 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Billy Ray Kennedy to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Kennedy (Tolley) and Percy Carl Morrison Kennedy; his wife Linda Schuit; his son Carl Kennedy; his grandson Brandon Kennedy; and his brother Jerry Lee Kennedy.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Powell of Charleston, IL, Anthony Pendleton of Tolono, IL and Dawn Bieda of Union Grove, WI; and his siblings, Roy Kennedy of Sadorus, IL and Donna Howerton of Mt. Vernon, IL.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Mt. Vernon Gun & Sportsman Club (18687 N Miller Lake Ln, Mt Vernon, IL 62864).
