It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol A. Willis of Mount Vernon, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on August 30, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Waldman and Veronica Waldman (Spotanski); and her siblings-in-law, Betty Hequembourg and Chuck Willis. She is survived by: her husband Jack B. Willis; her children, Bill Willis (Sherry) of Mount Vernon, Brenda Jennings (David) of Mount Vernon, Bob Willis (Vicky) of Mount Vernon, Tom Willis (Gena) of Edwardsville, Tracy Horton (Rick) of Mount Vernon and Toby Willis (Karen) of Mount Vernon, Illinois; her grandchildren, Katie Schrementi (Nick), Julianne Rubenacker (Ross), Kaelin Pierce (Adam), Blake Jennings (Liz), Jesse Maynor (Beth), Ryan Maynor, Brody Willis (Lizzie), Lindsay Willis (Kort), Josh Sledge (Kaity), Jenni Camarena (Cam), Jake Sledge, Jackson Horton, Robert Willis (Amber) and Colten Willis; her great grandchildren, Giuliana, Violet, Nolan, Wade, Ty, Sawyer, Rhianna, Bella, Bryor, Emma, Kole, Penelope, Lillian, Gideon, Grady, Geno, Loki, Rocco, Jax, Kolby, Mylze and Cami; her siblings, Madalyn Morris (Enoch), Charlotte Dalman (Jerry) and Wally Waldman (Carole); and her brother-in-law Joe Willis. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
