It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delmar Taylor of Mount Vernon, Illinois, born in Hamilton, Illinois, who passed away on October 18, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Delbert Taylor and Maud Taylor (Thackery); his siblings, Marie Talbert, Donald Taylor and Denzil Taylor; his daughter-in-law Jacque Taylor; and his grandson Zachary Thrasher.

He is survived by : his wife Wanda Taylor (Russell); his children, Delmar Leon Taylor of Milton, Florida and Shirley J Thrasher (Mike) of Mount Vernon, Illinois; his grandchildren, Russell Taylor, Richard Taylor and Jeri Hudgens; his great grandchildren, Jordan, Madelyn, Aaron, Sloane, Campbell and Vaughn; and his sister Sue Mae Lane of Poseyville, Indiana..
