We are sad to announce that on April 7, 2021, at the age of 84, Jack I. Wylie of Mount Vernon, Illinois, born in Akron, Ohio passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jack I. Wylie to pay them a last tribute. You may also light a candle in honor of Jack I. Wylie.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Homer Wylie and Bessie Wylie (Irwin); his spouse Octavia Ann Wylie (Kelly); and his sister Norma Duvall. He is survived by : his children, Beth Whittingham (Weston) of Atlanta, Georgia, Mark Wylie of Fairfield, Greg Wylie (Dana) of Sesser and Jeff Wylie (Amy) of Opdyke, Illinois; his grandchildren, Ryan Whittingham, Kyle Whittingham, Jacob Wylie, Rachel Wylie and Kristen Wylie; and his sister Joyce Berg of Clarksville, Tennessee. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 10th 2021 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hughey Funeral Home (1314 Main St, Mt Vernon, IL 62864). Please remember to observe social distancing at this time.
