She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Milton and Delia Allie Jamerson (Lisenby); her husband Ralph D. Carlton; her daughter Paula Hirons; her stepmother Mildred VanDyke; and her brothers, James Jamerson, William Jamerson and Jimmy Ray Lowery.
She is survived by: her daughter Linda Carlton of Mount Vernon; and her grandchildren, Lisa Witzel (Kerry) of Mount Vernon, Sherry Hardig (Calvin) of Texico, Jason Hirons (Carrie) of VanAlstine, Tammy Padget (John) of Mount Vernon and Tricia Kendrick (Noah) of Windham, Ohio. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Pauline's honor to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital or SSM Health at Home Hospice.
