Don Musgrove Obituary
The memory of Don Musgrove of Mount Zion, Illinois, who passed away on June 7, 2025 at the age of 79, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Don leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Don may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Troy Dixon and Leda Mae Musgrove (Caudle); his wife Sue Ann (Gosser) of Mt. Zion; his children, Steve Musgrove (Peggy) of Niantic and Deanna Stacey (Aaron) of Dewitt; and his grandchildren, Emily Musgrove of Decatur, Drew Stacey of Dewitt and Steven Musgrove of Niantic.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (720 W Main St, Mt Zion, IL 62549). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the Baptist Children's Home and Family Services, (bchfs.com) or the American Diabetes Association.
