He is survived by: his wife Carole; his children, Kathleen Beekel (Ted) of Adrian Michigan, Paul Thiel (Debbie) of Rockford and Robert Thiel (Shannon) of Hometown; his grandsons, Vincent Beekel (Mariela), Joshua, Mark (Michelle), Michael, Jimmy O'Brenski and Riley; and his great grandchild Zadok Thiel.
