He is survived by: his wife Barbara N. Vance of Murphysboro; his sons, Lewis Joseph Vance Jr. of Murphysboro, Mark Alan (Dawn Vance) and Martin Eric (Julie Ann Vance); his granddaughters, Jessica Elise Vance, Hannah Marie Vance and Molly Anne Vance; and his siblings, George, Jerry Scott, Harry and Dorothy.
