We are sad to announce that on June 10, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Roy R. Compton Jr. of Murphysboro, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He is survived by: his mother Sharon Compton (Ellis) of Ava; his children, Nicole Thomas (Micah) of Carterville and Brent Compton of Murphysboro; his grandchildren, Izabella Ortiz and Tegan Thomas; his father Roy, Sr. Compton; and his brothers, Roger Compton (Connie) of Murphysboro, David Compton of Murphysboro and Allen Compton of St. Louis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic there will be a private graveside service at the Ava Evergreen Cemetery.
