He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Susan Maxey Reid; his children, Jack Elliott Reid and Morgan Elizabeth Reid; his parents, John A. "Jack" and Ann Reid; his brother Lawrence J. Reid (Sharyl) of Thousand Oaks, CA; his parents-in-law, William E. "Bill" and Mildred Maxey; his brother-in-law Dr. James W. "Jim" Maxey (Kathleen); his aunts and uncles, Louise Keller (late George) and Do Johnson (Robert); and his nieces and nephews, Emma Maxey McCarter (Tom), Glenn Maxey (Kelsey), Shane Reid and Lynsey Reid.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Alan's memory may be made to: Bethany Lutheran Church Memorial Fund in honor of Alan Reid, or to one of his favorite charities, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
