He is survived by: his wife Kay Ann Filkins; his children, Mary Reilly (James), James Filkins (Wendy), Andrew Filkins, Patricia Filkins (James Pecoraro), Joseph Filkins (Anne Sutter) and Margaret Filkins; and his stepchildren, Phyllis E. Testani (Mario), Derrick Hager, Kimberley Libers (Philip), Daniel and Brooke Filas (Joseph). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
