She was predeceased by: her husband Andrew Francis Vail, Jr.; her son Mark Vail (Mary Jo); her grandson Martin E. Carey; her parents, George Cronin and Helen Cronin; and her siblings, Richard, Nancy White, Jerry and Patricia Neubauer.
She is survived by: her children, Andrew Francis Vail, III (Susan) of North Carolina, Mary Carol Carey (late Marty Carey), Maureen Wronski (Jim), Matt Vail and Karen Curran (Brendan); and her grandchildren, Kelly Ford, Michael Wronski, Danny Carey, Luke Vail, Meagan Freshour, Matthew Wronski, Andrew Vail IV, Colin Vail, Kristen Carey, Devin Vail, Katie Wronski, Jack Vail, Fiona Curran, Annie Vail, Patrick Curran and Claire Curran.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church (1500 Brookdale Rd, Naperville, IL 60563).
