He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Mette and Norah Mette; and his sister Victoria Mette. He is survived by: his wife Patti; his children, Jennifer Zimmerman (Jeff), Michael Mette (Carena) and Marc Mette (Jamie); his grandchildren, Nolan Pomatto, Brayden Zimmerman, Colin Pomatto, Briar Zimmerman, Nora Pomatto, Brynnley Zimmerman, Anthony Mette, Valentina Mette, Payton Mette, Taylor Mette and Nathan Mette; and his brothers, James Mette (Jeanean) and Frank Mette (Linda). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Homes & Crematory (24021 Royal Worlington Dr, Naperville, IL 60564).
