He was predeceased by: his wife Marjorie "Marge" Ray; his parents, Clifford Ray and Adeline Ray; and his siblings, Harvey Ray (Lorna), Gene Ray (Evelyn), Lois Petron (late Bob) and Bruce Ray.
He is survived by: his children, Keith R. Ray of Aurora, IL and Kimberly Spayer (Steve) of Naperville; his grandchildren, Ian Spayer, Evan and Kiersten Spayer Boesso (Nick); and his siblings, Eva Solem (late Donald), Sharon Bretzman (Marvin), Karon Armur (John), Verlan Ray (Judi), James Ray (Julie), Larry Ray (Ann), Marilyn Brown (late Wayne) and Marcia Kolander (late Randy).
