He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold L. Cleal and Shirley C. Cleal. He is survived by: his wife Sonja; his stepdaughter Nevena (Nick); his granddaughter Sofia; his stepson Matija; his brother Jon (Angela); his nieces, Valerie, Brittany and Shannon; and his siblings, Charles, Marianne and Janet.

In Lieu of flowers memorial made be made to a charity of donor's choice.
