She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charles Dowd and Gertrude Dowd; her husband Joseph F. Cassano; her children, Larry Cassano (Jane) of Naperville, Joseph Cassano (Julie Wenger) of Aurora, Peter Cassano (Carrie) of Naperville, Michael Cassano (Evelyn) of Aurora, John Cassano (Sarah) of Golden, CO and Mary Kukla (Tom) of Naperville; her grandchildren, Joseph, Christopher Cassano, Jonathan, Nina Cassano, Anthony, Michael Cassano, Jessica, Jack Cassano and Christina Kukla; and her siblings, Gwen Dowd, Lucille Vaughn, Madelyn McCarthy, Marie, Charles Dowd Jr., Dorothea Stanley, Geraldine Keenan and Constance Forlenza.
