He was predeceased by: his parents, William Meiter and Harriet Meiter (Bertram). He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Reiter; his sons, Chris Meiter (Joann) of Rockford and Craig Meiter (Michele) of Stillman Valley; his grandchildren, Stephanie Reed (Ryan), Benjamin Meiter (Brittany) and Marissa Meiter (Robert); and his great grandchildren, Rizzie and Nico.
