It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sidney Greeson (Neoga, Illinois), who passed away on October 28, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Ray Greeson and Martha Greeson (Tate); his son-in-law Gary Piper; his siblings, Marion, Ernest, Dexter Greeson, Lois Buchanan, Nellie Burgess and Daisy Fulton; and his grandchildren, Charles A. "Chad" Faris II and Donna Kelly Davis.
He is survived by : his wife Dortha Greeson of Neoga, Illinois; his children, Carl Greeson (Beverly) of Columbia and Carol Sue Piper of Neoga, Illinois; his grandchildren, Tara Davis of Neoga, Amy Piper of Springfield, Bryan Piper (Elizabeth), Carrie Guy (Nick) of Bainbridge Island and Colin Greeson (Chelsea) of St. Louis, Missouri; his great grandchildren, Micah Guy, Mallory Greeson and Katie Piper; and his sister-in-law Carol Montgomery. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
