He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul R. Georgi and Margaret E. Georgi (Riepe); his wife Dorothy Georgi (Heumann); his brother Klaus Georgi; and his grandson Nicholas Bennett.
He is survived by: his children, Desiree Bennett, Margaret Georgi and Kurt Georgi; and his grandchildren, Jeremy Bennett, Kyle Bennett (Abby), Alyssa Bennett, Michael Georgi and Mikayla Georgi. He is also survived by one great-grandson on the way, in addition to extended family.
