It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margaret Lesley Swanson of New Baden, Illinois, who passed away on August 18, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Kenneth Swanson; her parents, Leslie (Gwendoline) and Stepp; and her sister Vera Stepp. She is survived by : her children, Paul Swanson (Donna) of O'Fallon and Carolyn Frisse (Robert Jr.) of New Baden; her grandchildren, Melanie Dziurdzy (Caleb), Michael Swanson, Gwendolyn Frisse (Danny Wiggins) and Cale Frisse; her great grandchildren, Camden, Alina and Lydia Dziurdzy; her sister Beryl Green of Swindon, England; her sister-in-law Marie Arneson (Marvin) of Prentice, Wisc.; and her pet Daisy.

Memorial donations in memory of Margaret are suggested to either Faith Lutheran Church or Spencer Pet Rescue.
