He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Hampton and Katherine Hampton (Whitehall); and his siblings, Twila Tweed and Wayne Hampton. He is survived by: his wife Ann Hampton of New Boston, IL; his children, Steve Hampton (Stacey) of Muscatine, Jane Benedict of Shawnee, KS and Sue Frieden (Matt) of Joy, IL; his grandchildren, Kelsey Hampton (Brice Jensen), Jake Hampton (Heawon Yoon), Jordan Frieden (Kate) and Whitley Demuth (Drew); and his great grandchildren, Matilda Jensen, Henley Martin, Riley Frieden and Ivy Demuth.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services (2907 Mulberry Ave, Muscatine, IA 52761). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
