He was predeceased by: his parents, John Proudfoot and Bernice Proudfoot. He is survived by: his wife Carol Proudfoot; his children, Tracy Mikalauski (Craig) and Brian Proudfoot (Isolta); and his grandchildren, Madison Medellin (Zeke), Kaleigh Mikalauski (Chris Accetto), Lucas Proudfoot and Gabriela Proudfoot. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel (102 East Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (6001 W 111th St, Alsip, IL 60803).
