She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorris Douglas "Doug" and Dorothy C. Leffler (Foege); her husband Larry D. Short; and her brother-in-law Max Short. She is survived by: her children, Patti, Kathleen Jo Graham (Robert Barker) of Carson City, Nevada, Norman Alan Short (Cinda) of Newton and Patricia Lynne Short of Fisher; her grandchildren, Kristin Barker of Kirkland, Jesse Barker of Carson City, Jennifer Hills (Jace) of Newton, Alicia Magsamen (Jaron) of Ivesdale and Justin Hadler of Fisher; her great grandchildren, Seth George of Kirkland, Jeremiah, Joleigh Hills of Newton, Jarrett, Jackson and Jentry Magsmen of Ivesdale; her brothers, James Leffler (Jan) of Sioux Falls and Jay Leffler (Patsy) of Newton, Illinois.; her sister-in-law Clara Short of Newton, Illinois; and her siblings' children, Jeff Short, Todd Short, Kevin Short, Kelly Leffler, Kate Passalacqua and Colleen Swick.
