He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Perla; his children, Sonia, Ria Angelique (Jun), Juan Carlos and Marriane Veronique (Luis); his sisters, Erlinda and Dominica; his parents, Buenaventura Ugarte, Sr. and Gaudencia Mercado; and his grandchildren, Kevin, Carlos (Kokoy), Robert Angelo (Red), Rylee Angelyn, Chloe Veronique and Evan Alexander. He was also cherished by his many nieces and nephews, grandchildren, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Colonial-Wojciechowski Funeral Home of Niles (8025 W Golf Rd, Niles, IL 60714). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the St. John Brebeuf Church (8307 N Harlem Ave, Niles, IL 60714).
