As we bid Magdalena farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Magdalena is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband Benjamin Almazan; her siblings, Anastacio, Teodorico and Otelia; and her son-in-law Nixon Hilo.
She is survived by: her children, Belen Hilo, Brenia Abellera (Eric), Anthony Almazan and Bennette Cunningham (Rick).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Colonial-Wojciechowski Funeral Home of Niles (8025 W Golf Rd, Niles, IL 60714). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the ABS-CBN Foundation in her memory.
