We are sad to announce that on November 10, 2020, at the age of 97, Margaret Simon of Niles, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Johann Simon; her sister Anna Plei; and her daughter-in-law Dagmar Anna Simon. She is survived by: her children, Agnes Harter (John) and John Simon (Sharon); her grandchildren, Nicole Simon (Christopher Murphy), Adam Simon (Vy Nguyen), John Harter (Samantha), Nicholas Harter (Lisa Tountas) and Thomas Harter (Stephanie Pearson); her stepgrandchildren, Doctor Mona Kaur Singh and Hardeep Singh (Katherine); and her great grandchildren, Ava Dagmar Murphy and Sloan Katherine Singh.
In lieu of flowers donations are requested to the Lou and Jean Malnati brain tumor institute of Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
